  • The Decembrist Revolt

    3,000 soilders protested Nicholas's older brother stepping out of the line of sucssesion.
  • Czar Alexander II Emancipates the Serfs

    Alexander II released the serfs from their life as a serf so they could be a normal peasent.

    After his father died Nicholas became Czar of Russia at the age of twenty-six.

    Russia and Japan go to war over some land where Korea is.
  • Bloody Sunday

    A group of people marching around the capital were opened fired upon by groups of soilders. 92 were killed and several hundred wounded.
  • 1905 Revolution

    The Revolution of 1905 was a wave of massive unhappiness from the people
  • The Social-Democratic Labor Party

    The Social-Democratic Labor Party splits into two groups, Mensheviks and Bolsheviks. (Random month and day couldn't find the real one anywhere.)
  • World War I (Russian Involvement)

    When World War 1 began Russia joined to help its economy which was begining to fail. (Couldn't find the day it began so I kept it at the day I made this.)
  • Abdicates the Throne

    Nicholas II after the February Revolution decided to abdicate his throne.
  • The March Revolution

    The people in Russia were very angry and started to demand things leading to a revolution
  • Alexander Kerensky becomes leader.

    After Nicholas II abdicates his throne Alexander Kerensky become the leader of Russia for the time.
  • Russian Civil War Begins

    The Red army and the White army begin to fight each other.
  • Lenin Capture the Winter Palace

    Lenin and the Bolshevicks capture the Winter Palace which was very poorly guarded and so an easy target.
  • Nicholas II and his family are executed

    NIcholas and his family thought they were going to get their picture taken but instead the recieved bullets raining onto them.
  • Lenin Dies

    Lenin dies and he gives his power to Stalin so he can take over his position.
