The Decembrist Revolt was nade up of a small group of nobles and army officers. These people tried to overthrow the czar's government. They wanted to set up a constitutional monarchy. -
Czar Alexander II Emancipates the Serfs
Emancipated the serfs the same day as Abraham took his oath into office. Some serfs who thought that the real emacipation was being kept form them by their former lord rioted. Alexander earned the name Czar Liberator. -
The Assassination of Alexander II
He was killed by a bomb in Saint Petersburg. He was killed by the "People's Will" a group of people who engaged in assassination and terroisim to overthrow russias autocracy of czarist. They killed many officals and tried many times to kill the czar and succeded in 1881. -

Bloody Sunday
This event took place on a sunday afternoon in front of the Winter Palace. Where workers were led into a square by Father Gapon and the workers were mad at the soilders for an unwarrented attack on them. They screamed things like "Murder!" So the soilders attacked over 50 thousand - 100 thousand unarmed men, women, and children. -
The Revolution of 1905
This started because of the events that happened during Bloody Sunday. Riots and Strikes started in the cities. Peasants burnt the houses of landowners. Czar Nicholas II agreed to set up Duma, elected assembly, to make minor reforms. There was a lot of discontent amoung peasants, national minorities, factory workers etc. -

Lenin was the last of the Czars and there had been czars since 1480 and now in 1917 royalty in russia had come to an end. This revolution took place in russia during WW1. 90 thousand textile workers went of strike because of food and fuel shortages.
