Where workers were led into a square by Father Gapon and the workers were mad at the soilders for an unwarrented attack on them. They screamed things like "Murder!" So the soilders attacked over 50 thousand - 100 thousand unarmed men, women, and children.

This started because of the events that happened during Bloody Sunday. Riots and Strikes started in the cities. Peasants burnt the houses of landowners. Czar Nicholas II agreed to set up Duma, elected assembly, to make minor reforms. There was a lot of discontent amoung peasants, national minorities, factory workers etc.
