    Located in northern, eastern, and central Europe. Started when Russia and its allies declared war on the Swedish Empire. Sweden had 200,000 casualties. In the end Russia and allies had won.
  • Decembrist Revolt

    Decembrist Revolt
    Russian army officers led about 3,000 soldiers in a protest against Nicholas I. It occured in December which is why the rebels where called Decembrists. Government ened up winning and rebels were shipped to Siberia.

    Serfdom was the reason Russia was going backword in thee economy. Their beliefs in a holy Russia didnt pass with the government.

    The assassination was the spark of WW1. He was on his way to a military roll call when someone threw a bombat the carriage he was on sending the horses to the ground. That was the first attempt which failed. The second attempt was successful when the bomber had thrown a grenade at his feet.

    Lasted for a year and a half. Fought between Russian and Japanese Empires. Russians had more strength then the Japanese. This had nothing to do with the war when the Japanese won, resulting in The Treaty of Portsmouth.

    Lasted almost two and a half years. The main target was the Russian Empire because of the government. Peasants and workers lost of course because of the little power they had againts the Tsar. Who remained in power after the revolt.

    Located in Russia. Fought betwen its government, empire, , and Ptrograd soviets. Ends Russian empire, leads to abdication of Nicholas II, and Bolsheviks takeover power. Starts the Civil war.

    People planned on marching, and ended up attacking the British army. 13 people were killed due to gunshot wounds. and 14 were injured.
