Czar Alexander II Emancipates
He freed surfs gain political rights and was allowed to keep their belongings. This made it possible for people to sell land at an extremely expensive price. Many people lived in poverty because of this He focused on bettering schools and health care. -

The Revolution of 1905
Riots strikes occurred due to the events of bloody Sunday. To stop them Nicolas set up the Duma Reforms. The Duma didn't do much but it didn't stop the issues. -
Bloody Sunday
Started out as a peaceful march to ask Nicholas for some political freedom and better working conditions. They carried banners with his pictures of him and his wife. Suddenly soldiers appeared and began shooting people more than 100 were dead. -
World War I (Russian Involvement)
Nicolas left his wife in charge of the town when he went to battle. He made a big mistake the town turned into a huge disaster. There were shortages of goods. The war devastated Russia and everything dealing with it. This failure resulted in a Communist Government. Rasputan advised Nicolas to go to war he planned that they would fail. -

The March Revolution
Riots and fights erupted in Petrogad the Russian Capitol. Demonstrators overthrew the czarist officials Nicolas gave up his throne.
