    On this day, about 3,000 men revolted against the czar outside of the Winter Palace. As a result, 60-70 of the people died, and al of the people who were captured were hanged or exiled to Siberia.

    Serfs had inhumane treatment before they were emancipated. Kind of like how African Americans were treated before they were emancipated too. The document that emancipated the Serfs is called Emancipation Manifesto.

    People were protesting peacefully. Nicholas II was away, so his uncle told his guards to open fire on the crowd. More than one hundred people died and several hundred were injuried.
