The fall of Rome was caused the Dark Ages. The empire fell apart and people were scared to travel. People were conffused who should be in charge. And buisnesses failed.

During the fall of Rome, there was no unity so the catholic decided to step up to be a strong political force. They used the voice of God to keep their power. If someone disagreed with them they would tell them they were disagreeing with God.

At this time there were lots of attacks and barbaric tribes. The kings and knobles made sure it was easy to keep their power.Kings are given the power by God or a Pope. Nobles are given their power through heritage.

The crusades was caused by muslims taking over the holy land. The effects were trade increases between Europeans and Asians. Also, people feal safe to travel therefore travel much more to ttrade.

The renaissance started in Italy. Back then, rich peaople ate better then poor people. Also, religion was very important. The printing press was also invented during this time.

Started by Marin Luther when he nails the 95 thesis to a door. He does this hoping to reform the Catholic Church. But, now that people can actualy read the bible they say no to Mr. Luther.
