This was the warmest year in North Carolina with the average temperature in Wilmington being 3.6 degrees higher than usual. This was the hottest year recorded for the entire United States until 2016. -

Terrorists attack Libyan city Benghazi and kills four Americans, including the U.S. ambassador. This act showed the fight against Islamic extremists continues. The photograph above is a memorial to the ones who lost their lives in this tragic and controversial event. -
Graduated High School
When I was 18, I graduated high school and began the next chapter of my life, starting school at NCSU. This was a big year for me because I completely left my comfort zone and left my home in Florida. -
