On November 10th, 1983, a baby girl is born in Sioux Falls, SD.

Jordan heads off to preschool to learn coloring, sharing, counting and all the other tough topics that four and five year olds learn at that age.
Traditional Learning. -
First day of "real" school. Little J. starts Elementary School in Parker, S.D. at Parker Elementary school. There are 40 children in her grade.
Traditional Learning -
First day of middle school. Moving out of the elementary side of school into the middle school area. Joins band and oral interpretation for extracurricular clubs. Also plays basketball and volleyball.
Traditional Learning -
High School! Continues to play in concert band as well as Jazz band and marching band. Participates in basketball, and volleyball. Becomes involved in yearbook and newspaper organization.

High School graduation from Parker High School. Graduated P.H.S. as a member of National Honor Society.

Accepted and enrolled in the DSU Respiratory Care Program. Respiratory Care program entailed science and generals to obtain an A.S. in Respiratory Care in a year and a half.
Traditional Learning -
Graduation from DSU with an A.S. in Respiratory Care. Did not walk during ceremony due to the fact I had been hired as a Respiratory Threrapist at Sioux Valley Hospital and choose to start training that weekend instead of walking graduation.

Acive membership in American Association of Respiratory Care and well as the National Board for Respiratory Care.
Traditional and Experiential Learning -
After completing orientation to ICU, PICU, and ICN, and working in all areas for 14 months, applied and offered a position on the Intensive Air Flight Team.
Experiential Learning -
Achieved credentials in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Practices, and Pediatric LIfe Support.
Experiential Learning -
Applied and promoted to charge therapist as well as maintaining flight therapist status. Charge therapists acts as shift supervisor and staffing coordinator onthat shift.

After consideration and soul searching, determined it was in my best interest to go back to school and obtain my BS so that I would be elligible to apply for a manager position once it became available.

In March of 2014, coursework for achieving a BS in Healthcare Management commenced through Bellevue University.
Traditional Learning -
Due to an early retirement, the position of manager became available in the Respiratory Care Department at Sanford Health (formerly known as Sioux Valley Hospital).

Position of manager offered to myself and accepted with start date of January 20th, 2015.
Traditional and Experiential Learning -
Completed coursework for the BS in Healthcare Management Program from Bellevue University. Just seven credits away from my Bachelor's. Completed program with a 3.9 GPA. Whoop whoop!
Traditional Learning
