Martha Crawford' taught 2nd grade her first year at Crawford. She had Paul C. Beck (future Mayor of Aurora) in her class.

Principal Kyle Conley and students at Crawford Elementary present Lt. Gov. Joe Garcia with letters during his visit, Feb. 27, 2012, for Read Across America, in Aurora, Colo. The national day of reading is celebrated annually on the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss. The state was also marking the beginning of Colorado Literacy Week.
