    Kaiser and Bismark
    Otto Von Bismark used war to unify Germany. Later, he wanted peace for Europe, but saw France as the biggest threat to peace. Later, Bismark formed a triple alliance with Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy. Kaiser Willhem II who was the leader of Germany, made Bismark resign and Kaiser loved the army. This is signifigant because without forming the alliances, the world war couldv'e turned out much differently, (some countries may have an edge.) Kaiser wanted to give the better for his country.

    Creation of Dual Alliance
    Bismarck formed an alliance between Germany and Austria-Hungary. 3 Years later, Italy joined them which created a triple alliance. France and Great-Britain also allied incase of an attack. This is signifigant because it shaped who liked eachother and who didn't If there were no alliances, it would be a free for all and there would be no control unless one power takes over and is much stronger than everyone else. They showned nationalism by showing pride for eachother and fighting for eachother.

    The triple alliance was a strong 3-way bond between Austria-Hungary, Germany, and 3 years later, Italy. This was the main group of countries that allied together to create a strong army force. This is signifigant because if this was a weak 3-way alliance, they would end up in a bad position. The alliance system was a group of nations that worked hard to achieve a certain goal. had a strong force which would give rival countries a big problem which was an important part of the 2 world wars.

    The creation of the triple entente shaped the allies and enemies of world war 1 and was when certain countries formed as allies.. The allies were first German, Italy, and Austria-Hungary as one group and France, Russia, and Great Britain as another. Italy Joined France's alliance later. This is signifigant because it showed the alliances between the 2 sides. this was important because the stronger alliance would win so it shaped out who would win world war 1 which was a really big war.

    Russia and France formed a strong bond during mid August. Great Britain, Japan, and Italy soon joined. Russia and France were known as the allied powers. Imperialism grew as their military force grew and there power. France and Russia were the base of the war and haven't really allied together till now This is signifigant because these 2 powers haven't allied before and now was their chance to work together. Allies were a big part in this war anf they were strong.

    Austria annexing Bosnia and Herzegovina
    Bosnia and Herzegovina was annexed by Austria. Both of these places had Serbian leaders and the population was mainly Serbian. Heat grew between Serbia and Austria. The Serbs continually wanted to take Bosnia and Herzegovina away from Austria, but Austria would said they would "crush" any Serb that interfered. This was signifigant because instead of being independant, Bosnia and Herzegovina was annexed by Austria. This prooved that Austria was stronger than Bosnia and Herzegovina

    Before world war I, the rising of military became a big part of the war. Each side of the war had a strong standing army. Militarism is The policy of glorifying military power and keeping an army prepared for war with good combat techniques, and advanced warfare. Each side of the war introduced new warfare weapons, defences, and techniques such as poison gas, tanks, submarines, and machine guns. This was signifigant because it gave an advantage to who had the better techniques and weapons.

    Archduke Ferdinand Assassination
    Franz Ferdinand was the archduke of Austria.He was assassinated by a man of the Black Hand. The assassinators name was Gavrilo Principe and. What happened was a series of assassinators from the black hand had chances to asssassinate the archduke and the last one got him. The driver took a wrong turn by accident and by coincidence, an assassinator with a pistol killed the archduke. This was signifigant because it caused a spark to occur between the assassinators and the people of Austria.

    After the Assassination of Ferdinand, Austria-Hungary was ready to fight anyone who stepped in their way. In no mood to negotiate, they wanted to settle for war. Austria-Hungaries declaration of war against Serbia set of a chain reaction for other countries in the alliance system. After that, most of Europe was in war and getting ready to fight the most brutal war in history. This is signifigant because it was the beginning of the biggest war ever but Nobody would expect it to be this brutal.
