    410 C.E. The Visigoths, led by Alaric took over Rome, forcing Constantine to then move the capitol to Turkey, renaming it Constantinople. One of the main factors that lead to the fall of the Roman Empire was the up bringing of the new religion, Christianity.

    Led by Alaric, the visigoths attacked on Rome. At the time, the capitol had already been moved. This was the first time in almost 800 years that Rome had fallen to an enemy. As a result, this would lead to further conflict and fight between Rome and Alaric.

    The Franks, led by Charles Martel, fought against a massive and invading Islamic Army in Tours, France. As an outcome, the Franks defeated the Islamic Army, killing their leader.This haulted the Islamic conquest and preserved Christianity as the controlling faith in Europe.

    Charlemagne was emporer of the Franks for 47 years 768-814 A.D. He accomplished some military endeavor which would expand his frankish kingdom. Charlamagne being crowned emporer would then lead to the upbring up the Holy Roman Empire that he would then hand down to his own son, Louis to rule.
