I am frrom bejing, China. I was born to be for my peoples tradtions.But I want my own life that why i came to America. To have my own choice. I grew up with no siblings and only a only a mother.My father was out working in the feilds 24/7 almost all my life. Until he died in the feilds. Then I started to work in the feilds with my mother.And nownI decided to come to America for money so send home and gain money for my mother. Also to have freedom of speech. -
Angel Island Event 1
I'm Mu i'm coming to America from China. I am coming to have my own freedom.But once I arrived in America I was treated horriable. Most people were even sent home saying they had somthing wrong with them. I was lucky i didnt have any wrighting on me. The check up was fast hardly even a minute. Once I left i found a boomtown and started mining. -
First day of work Event 2
I ahve finnally arrived in California.I heard there are many boomtowns here. I found a boomtown today it was very crowded with few woman and children. Today I started mining it is very dangerous an the white men have no respect for anyone. I had to blow up some of the mine today. I as so scared its a huge risk. White men say there gonna make us do the bombs until our last breath. -
Jail Event 3
Yes I was put in jail for "beating up an American". I had gotten a mug shot right when I went in. I stayed in a jail cell for 3 days to straighten out "my" behavior. It was bad. There were a lot of people that said they were going to beat me up. Some them were actually close to but the cops stopped them. Even though they hated me even more then the jail mates did.
