Chapter 4 & 5 & 10 - School Bells and More School Bells and Middle School

  • Pre-K

    Pre-K
I went to a pre-k school called New Life in OKC. I learned how to be creative and how to make friends. I learned my ABC's rather easily there and I remember having a lot of fun.
  • Kindergarten.

I went to Kindergarten at an elementary school still in OKC, called Hobson Elementary School. I don't remember much except for how nice the principal was. I also remember the first time we did emergency drills. We did all the inside drills, which included tornado, IOC, and earthquake. I remember that I had to help the teachers calm kids down, because some thought it was a real drill.
  • First Grade

    First Grade
First Grade we moved to Tulsa and I went to Groves Elementary School. I remember inviting my whole 1st grade glass to my birthday party.
  • Second Grade

    Second Grade
My second grade class was a combination of both 1st and 2nd grade classes. I remember not really learning anything new in this class because of that. It made my second year of elementary almost the same as my first. I also played the part of the blue bird in a school play.
  • Third Grade

    Third Grade
Third grade is when we moved to Broken Arrow and I went to Arrowhead Elementary school.
  • Fourth Grade

    Fourth Grade
Fourth Grade I had the same teacher I had in third. The school believed that I had a learning disability so I was put in remedial reading and math for fourth and fifth grades.
  • Fifth Grade

    Fifth Grade
Fifth Grade was much like the fourth. I sang in the chore and was a tech for the Fifth grade play.
  • Sixth Grade

    Sixth Grade
I went to Sequoya middle school for 6th-8th grade. It didn't really take me long to adjust and make friends. I had joined the orchestra and made friends and almost each class I was able to make a new friend.
  • Seventh Grade

Not much happened in my 7th grade year. I still was in orchestra and got Mrs. Ricard as my teacher. I made above average grades all throughout middle school and felt I was slightly cheated during elementary because of that.
  • Eighth Grade

    Eighth Grade
This grade was probably one of my favorite years. I was doing well in school and had fun classes. The school got a donation from Wal-Mart and they used that money to take the eighth grade class to the Oklahoma Bombing Memorial then the Capital Building. And the last thing to top off the year was eighth grade day.
