    The Council of the nicea taught that Jesus was devine but this had led to further problems. Was Jesus truely human? or was it believed about the Greeks and Roman Gods, which thought he was only semi - human pretending to be human but not really sharing our full human nature & experience.The overemphasise to humanity can lead to overlooking to denying his humanity.

    The Council of Chalcedon
    A council gathered at Chalcedon in AD 451, they did this event for the rights and the challege to find the language in which refers to the natures of Jesus, and his humanity.
    The Council had announced of Jesus's two natures which is his Human nature and Divine Nature.
    This all had described that Jesus was FULLY human and FULLY divine and hes only one person.This phrase had given the church a precise language to speak about Jesus

    The plague erupted in 1320's and spread from there in every direction several population losses withing Europe and Asian nations and China. numbers falling from 125 million to 90 million during the fourteenth century.
    The plague was not only a change that the Church had to face but its effects within the Church we huge.
    The devastating loss of peoples lives as the ugliness disease made the people wonder.
    why - the black death made people think maybe God is angry with the people

    Indulgences was a heard as people were aware of the black Death and even the Christians were eager to make sure that they were ready for death when that time came.
    indulgences was encouraged and helped beliveve can free himself or herself from purgatory while on earth. the church than taught the prayers and good works of Christians on earth can help reduce purgatory for others.so they prayed for the dead "that they will be realesd from their sins".

    Catholic counter reformation was the society of jesus,known as the Jesuits, which was founded by St Ignatius of Loyola, and approved by Pope Paul III in 1540.The troops were only one of the several new communities in the Church, three main reasons. one being the motto " to the greater glory of God" which was dedicated to the eduication of young people.jesuits had a strong sense of unity within themselves and complete solidarity with the pope.they were men of great scholarship and learning.
