  • Rasputin Assassinated

    He was murdered by a group of nobles.
    The nobles lured him to a different palace where they attempted to poison him.
    After he was shot twice in point blank range, then was thrown into the freezing river.

    March 4th workers went on strike after they were declined a 50% wage increase to by food.
    March 8th 30,000 workers were locked out of work.
    March 9th the riots got worse and out of hand and they couldn’t control it.

    Lenin was determined to show and exploit how the war affected Russia and the people in it.
    At first he wanted to march and get the people riled up to go against the palace but it failed.
    So he just decided to take the Palace forcefully.
