Happy Time was my first experience at a school. It was a half day program where I learned how to play with other children. My best friend was Alexa. We loved playing outside on the swings and doing arts and crafts. My least favorite part of preschool was nap time.

I started kindergarten at P.S 111 when I was five. I was so excited to go to a school with older children. My teacher was Mrs. Gross. I stayed at P.S 111 until my graduation in 2005.

I graduated Elementary school on a humid day in June. I remember being nervous to start middle school with so many new kids. However, my parents insisted I would love being in a bigger school with a lot more people.

Despite being nervous to start middle school, the first day of school was exciting! I was placed into a great homeroom and had a good feeling about my new teachers. Switching classes was confusing but I got the hang of it!

Graduation was a bittersweet time. I was sad to be leaving my middle school friends behind. However, I was excited to have been excepted into a catholic school with an outstanding reputation.

Attending Archbishop Molloy ended up being one of the best possible experiences. I learned so much about myself and really grew as a person. Leaving behind my school and friends to attend college six hours gave me anxiety!

While I was hesitant to leave my high school experiences and friends, moving into college was very exciting! I moved into a freshman-only dorm and was blessed with a wonderful roommate.

As a senior in college preparing for graduation I started a publicity internship with the Ice Knights. I work directly with the head hockey coach to publicize hockey events and create good PR for both the players and the team.
