Israel's Independence
After a year at battle Israel finally gained it's independence. They received the Gaza Strip as their new home. -
The Six Day War
This war was as it sounds, six days. Jordan, Iraq, and Syria all moved in troops to Israel but Israel was able to strike back and gain even more land. -
The Attrition Battles
The Arabs announced they refused to make peace with Israel which cause small battles and attacked between the two. The Israel military and civilians were attacked. -
Egypt Makes Peace
Egypt eventually decides to recognize Israel as a country and make a peace treaty with it. The president believed being at war with Israel would hurt his country. -
Arab Peace
It took till 2002 for the Arabs to take after Egypt and discuss peace with Israel. The current prince of Saudi Arabia proposed a peace plan to Israel.
