A major leader of the Cherokee Native American tribe, Worcester, had represented his enitre tribe during a case in him trying to protect the right to stay in America and not move out west. -

Jackson had thought that the bank had been given too much power, so when it's renewal date had come up Jackson had not hesitated to veto it. -
Nullification Crisis
Because of increased taxes on the imports from England, South Carolina had threatned to secede from the nation if the taxes weren't removed.
