Marked the first time in his career at Lafayette High School to clear the 17-foot mark in the pole vault. Ranked No. 5 nationally among prep pole vaulters for the Class of 2011 for the 2010 season ... One of the most prolific high school pole vaulters in Louisiana history.

Finished in 19th place in the pole vault at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a clearance of 16 feet, 10 ¾ inches. Cleared a lifetime personal record of 17-5 ½. Named to the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll following the season.
