    In the battle of Teutoburg Forest the Roman empire fought against Germanium tribes. Germania won and this battle is considered one of Romes's greatest defeats. What came from this was Varus committing suicide and the death of many roman soldiers.

    The Battle of Watling Street

    The battle of Watling Street was between Rome and Britain, the leaders being Gaius Suetonius Paulinus and Boudiccia. The Romans won this battle under the command of Gaius Suetonius Paulinus. This battle marks the end of the resistance towards the Roman empire in ruling Britain.

    The battle of the Siege of Masada was between the Roman empire and the province of Judea. The Romans won. This battle led to a mass suicide performed by the Jews. This battle then went on to have a significant impact on Jews by the Romans.

    The Dacian Wars were between the Roman empire and Dacia. These wars went from 101 to 102, In the first battle Dacia was defeated by the Romans and had to accept from terms. In the second (105-106) the Dacians attempted to resume raids on Roman territory. This resulted in a string of Roman victories and besieged Dacians committed mass suicide. The impacts of this were suicides and Rome obtaining Dacian land and gold mines.

    The Marcomannic Wars were between the Roman empire, the Marcomanni and the Quadi (a German tribe). The Romans won the majority of the Marcomannis Wars. The wars ended when the emperor died in army camps and was passed to his son, Commodus. He was not interested in pursuing the war so he arranged a peace treaty between the enemies. The impact of this battle was the fragmentation of the Roman West in the late fifth century.
