The impacts of this were suicides and Rome obtaining Dacian land and gold mines. -

The Marcomannic Wars were between the Roman empire, the Marcomanni and the Quadi (a German tribe). The Romans won the majority of the Marcomannis Wars. The wars ended when the emperor died in army camps and was passed to his son, Commodus. He was not interested in pursuing the war so he arranged a peace treaty between the enemies. The impact of this battle was the fragmentation of the Roman West in the late fifth century. -
