    Menes Unites Egypt

    Menes Unites Egypt
    Egypt was devided into two, Lower, and Upper Egypt. This two were always fighting, so Menes conquered Lower Egypt, but still, they keep fighting.
  • Period: 2613 BCE to 2181 BCE

    Old Kingdom

    The old kingdom is also named the "age of the pyramids". It was a dynasty, and this is when the King Sneferu perfected the pyramid's construction.
  • Period: 2040 BCE to 1782 BCE

    Middle Kingdom

    It was the time were one of it's greatest works were tha art and literature. Egypt reached its highest point of culture during the 12th Dynasty, and the innovations of this period influenced the rest of Egypt's history.

    Hyksos Conquered Egypt

    The Hyksos moved across the Isthmus of Suez into Egypt. Hykos comes from "the rulers of foreign lands.

    Reign of Hatsheput

    Hatshepsut was the longest reigning female pharaoh in Egypt, she ruled Egypt for 20 years in the 15th century BC. She can be considered oneof the pharaoh most successful in Egypt.

    Pharaoh Thutmose III was the warrior king of Egypt 18th and largest dynaty. During his reign Thutmose change some rules of Syria and Palestine.

    Reign of Ramses II

    Was the third pharaoh of the 19th dynasty. He took the trone around 1279n BC and he ruled 66 years until his death (1213 BC).
