On January 26th, 2002, I was born in Independence, KY, making my mom and dad official parents. -
Becoming a Big Sister
I became a big sister when I was only 18 months old. I would eventually have 3 younger siblings, making me the oldest of 4. Being a big sister is a part of my identity, and I am thankful for my family. -
Starting High School
I attended a high school that was 30 minutes away from my house, and went in knowing no one. This was a huge growth experience for me, and I am thankful for the opportunities that it gave me. -
COVID Graduation
I graduated high school in the midst of COVID-19. I received my diploma through a drive-through in my school parking lot. I finished my last three months of high school through Zoom, not even realizing that I would never be able to set foot in my high school as a student again. -

Moving to Louisville
I moved to Louisville, Kentucky to attend the University of Louisville and study elementary education. This began my journey in becoming a teacher.
