    Adolf Hitler was born the evening of April 20, 1889. He was born in the small village of Braunau Am Inn in Austria, which was located near the border of Germany. He was the fourth child of six to the parents of Alois Hitler and Klara Polz of. His father was harsh and his brother, Edmund, died young which led him to become dejected and detached from the world.     The signing of the Treaty of Versailles officially ended World War I. Germany had lost the war and the European Allied Powers placed strict reprimands on Germany for initiating the war. Germany lost most of its recently captured land and was given a large debt. In order to prevent another war the Allied Powers restricted their army and navy. This allowed Hitler's Nazi Party to assure the people of Germany that they will rebuild everything. It ultimately lead to Hitler's up rise. (Simpson 35)

    As the fuhrer to of the Nazi Party on November 18th, 1923, Hitler lead a rebellion to get rid of Communists and Jews in the government of Munich. He successfully took the city and he expected the government to back him up. They Nazi's were armed and the police came and arrested Hitler for illegal rallying and treason. He was sentenced to eight months in prion, he was given a nice cell and he wrote part 1 of Mein kampf, an autobiography. (Allan 44)

    After the Beer Hall Putsch, Hitler was sentenced eight months in prison. He started creating the first part of Mein Kampf, which means "My Struggles", in those eight months. It is an autobiography about his early years and his beliefs. Hitler's main ideas and views were on German nationalism, anti-Semitics, and anti-Communism.     Harry Houdini said that he could withstand any punch to the abdomen and he would be fine. On October 22, 1926 a college student asked if he could test this, Harry let him. Throughout the day he was in great pain. He had a very high fever but would not go to the hospital. On the 30th he had a fever of 104 degrees while performing he passed out but would still not go to the hospital. Hitler was able to grab Germany's attention and turned the people towards the Nazi Party by his strong speeches and persuasion.     On March 5th, 1933 Germany held a free election, what they did not know was that it would be there last free election. Hitler and the Nazis got 44% of the votes but needed 66% to win the election. They received 17 million votes while the next party only received 7 million. This disappointed Hitler but allowed him to gain a lot of determination which would aid him in becoming the dictator of Germany (History.com).

    Enabling Act
    on March 24, 1933 the Law to Remedy the Distress of the People and the Reich, which was also known as the Enabling Act, was passed. This allowed Hitler to create his own laws, they could even violate the constitution created by the Social Democratic Party. The Nazis essentially rigged the election by putting all the communists and a portion of the Social Democrats in Nazi-Controlled camps not allowing them to vote. The Nazi Party ended up winning with more than 2/3 majority vote (ushmm.org).

    President Hindenberg's death allowed Hitler to become the Fuhrer of Germany. Which means he was the leader and had complete control. Hitler disregards the former Weimar democracy and runs the Third Reich. Now in Germany every law was under Hitler's rule (Gray 178).

    The Holocaust was a mass genocide of Jews, Roman gypsies, homosexuals, soviet prisoners of war, blacks, and more that was organized by Hitler. It was a gradual process that just got more horrific as it went on. It started off with putting people into crowded cities called ghettos. Those people would then get sent to concentration camps where they would either die of starvation, exhaustion, or disease. Later on the camps would just kill as many people as they could efficiently (History.com)

    On May 23, 1940 Frank Sinatra released his first hit song with the Tommy Dorsey band. Him and three others were the vocalist and were called the Pied Pipers. This was the first recording he did with the Pied Pipers. The song "I'll Never Smile Again" became a number one hit in just two months and stayed as it for over three months. This jump started very successful career (thefranksinatra.com).

    During the collapse of his Reich in World War two Hitler escaped to an air-raid bunker. It is said that he had committed suicide with his wife of only two days at the time. He reportedly shot himself but this is widely argued and his death is known as somewhat of a mystery (History.com).
