    Chapter 1
    The Baudelaire orphans were sent to their new guardian Uncle Monty who is a herpetologist. They had a very warm welcome with a very comforting home.
  • Chapter 2

    Chapter 2
    The children grew quite fond of Uncle Monty, as he was aware of the terrible situation the children went through. They did fun activities, gained knowledge of Reptiles and the expeditions he had around the world.
  • Chapter 3

    Chapter 3
    An unexpected event occurred, an ominous assistant had appeared with a name of Stephano. The Baudelaires could easily tell that it was Count Olaf in disguise, a pass evil guardian who wants their fortune.
  • Chapter 4

    Chapter 4
    They went to the movies when the Baudelaire children had seen Uncle Monty using a telescope like device as they watched a film. Uncle Monty was in and out of the theatre as they watched closely at Stephano to not do anything suspicious.
  • Chapter 5

    Chapter 5
    The Baudelaire children had found Uncle Monty dead with a snake bite on his neck in the Reptile room. Stephano tried to take the children to the driveway to escape to Peru but they were luckily stopped by Mr.Poe on the driveway.

    Chapter 6
    The Baudelaire children had tried to tell Mr.Poe that Stephano is really Count Olaf in disguise but he didn't budge. Count Olaf's troupe had worn a disguise as nurses and cops to investigate the death of Uncle Monty.
  • Chapter 7

    Chapter 7
    Klaus and Sunny had made a trap to expose Stephano (Count Olaf) to Mr.Poe by the help of “ The Incredibly Deadly Viper”(Misnomer). Stephano had exposed himself after claiming to be quite an expert on Reptiles when he had said that he knew nothing about Reptiles when he had arrived.
  • Chapter 8

    Chapter 8
    Violet had found evidence of the murder of Uncle Monty in Stephano’s suitcase. Mr.Poe had used his handkerchief filled with germs to reveal a tattoo of an eye on Stephano’s ankle exposing his true identity.
  • Chapter 9

    Chapter 9
    Mr.Poe’s fear had allowed Count Olaf and his troupe to escape, and the Baudelaire children had not gotten the justice they deserved. Uncle Monty’s reptiles have been taken by the Herpetological Society.
  • Chapter 10

    Chapter 10
    The unfortunate children are free from Count Olaf’s clutches once again without the justice they deserve. They are now off to a new guardian again.
