    The Battle of Gonzales was a battle that took place in Gonzales when the Texans got a Mexican cannon and the Mexicans wanted it back. So, the Texans took the cannon and put a flag on it that said "Come and Take it".When a Mexican offical came to get the cannon the Texans attacked and the Mexicans retreated.
