Camp On March 12, 1933, the first concentration camp, which was where the Jews were kept, was opened. It was located at Oranienburg, just outside Berlin.

Boycott On April 1, 1933, just a week after Hitler became dictator of Germany, he ordered a boycott of Jewish owned shops, banks, offices and department stores. The German shoppers ignored the boycott, so it was called off after only three days. Even though the boycott didn't come out how it was supposed to be, it was followed by a series of laws which took many rights away from the jews.

Hindenburg On August 2, 1934, President Hindenburg died at his Prussian estate. Hitler took this chance, and gave him a state funeral. Hindenburg was buried at Tannenburg. Hitler no longer had the title president, but one that suited him more, Fuhrer.

Fuhrer On August 2, 1934, the drawn out death Hindenburg had arrived. Later that day after this event happend, Hitler and the Nazis announced that he would be Fuhrer and also stated two new laws.

Deprived In 1935, all Jews were stripped of their citizenship and all rights. They were now expected to follow all orders and ways of Hitler.

Union On the night of March 12, 1938, Hitler announced union with Austria. As soon as this was heard, the Nazis began a painful beatdown on Austrian Jews, arresting them and humiliating them publicly.
