    The "Spanish Flu" Influenza Pandemic
    A virus known as the "Spanish Flu" was unintenionaly carried to Europe by American soldiers and from there spread around the world, killing up to 50 million people or nearly one third of the worlds population by December of 1920. In many cases soldiers contracted the virus in the trenches or barracks and imported the disease home with them following the war
  • Russian Revoulotion

    Russian Revoulotion
    Dishartened by the military incompatence of the Russian military many soldiers and factory workers rally to the Bolshvik cause. As the new regiem was unable to effectivly mobilise the Russian army they where forced to cede large amounts of territory to the Germans

    Germany launched a massive offencive in the Verdun sector, breaking through at several points and even shelling Paris. However by late April the Allies had retaken all captured positions and dealt massive casulties on the Germans, especialy the elite "Storm Trooper" divisions, Germany never recovered from these losses and began negotiating for peace with the Allies

    Feeding on the belief that Germany was misstreated by the Treaty of Versailles, the Nazi party gained signifigant support from the German public and placed the blame for Germany's defeat on communists, jews and other groups
