    The Armistice is signed and officially, World War One is over.
  • Greater Poland Uprising

    Greater Poland Uprising. It was a military insurrection against the rule of Germany.
  • Hitler joins the Party.

    Adolf Hitler joins the German Workers Party.
  • Foundation of Nazi Party

    Anton Drexler created a new political party and said that it should be named Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei. However, people objected to the term "socialist" and they changed to only Deutsche Arbeiterpartei.
  • Hitler gains a different position in the party.

    Hitler becomes the leader of public speaking and propagandist of the Party.
  • Kapp Putsch

    The Kapp Putsch. It was an attempt to try to undo the German Revolution and establish an autocratic regime instead. Everyone that still wanted a monarchy supported the Putsch.

    The Ruhr Uprising. Workers from the left-wing made a revolt in response to the Kapp Putsch.

    This was Hitler's novel that contained all of his thoughts and his ideology. It is a very problematic book that is now forbidden in many countries.

    The Dawes Plan solved the problem Germany had in relation to the reparations they had to pay for World War One.

    The new Nazi Party was no longer a paramilitary organization

    Paul von Hindenburg elected president.
  • Treaty of Berlin

    The Treaty of Berlin is signed by Germany and the Soviet Union, which declares neutrality if either country is attacked within the next five years.

    The 3rd Nazi Party Congress is held in Nuremberg
  • Federal Elections: only 12 seats in the Reichstag

    The Social Democratic Party of Germany remained the largest party in the Reichstag. The only two parties to gain significantly were the SPD, which received almost a third of the vote, and the Communist Party of Germany, which completed a thorough victory of the left-wing. During that period, Hitler concentrated on re-establishing himself as the leader of the Nazi Party after his release rather than on his party's electability

    When the crisis arrived in Germany, the country that was trying to rebuild its economy again turned into real chaos. Inflation reached 6.000% and unemployment was about 6 million. However, the crisis helped with Nazism’s growth.

    Sturmabteilung members burst into the Eden Dance Palace and fired at the crowd, thinking they were communists.
