This experiment relates to society because it measured the willingness of subjects to obey orders given by a person of authority that conflicted with their personal beliefs or values. the goal was to decipher if people who followed inhumane orders were guilty or simply doing their job. He found that people do bad things if ordered to because they feel that it is no longer their responsibility.

Death of Marilyn Monroe
