    Revolutionary War
    The Revolutionary War started in trying for freedon from Britian. This date is the date of the battle of Lexington and Concord. We ended up winning on September 3, 1783 when the treaty of Paris was signed. Later on we had the Decloration of Independece.
  • Declaration of Independence

    Declaration of Independence
    The Declaration of Independence was a Declaration saying that we ( America ) want to have our freedom from Britain. We wrote this then our for fathers signed it. The writing prosess took many days but it was finished and signed. The ate is was compleate was the 4th of July, this is why we celebrate the 4th every year in honor of the day we got our independence.

    Lousinna Purchuse
    The Louisiana Purchase was a Purchase that included the states Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, New Mexico some of Texas, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and Louisiana. This chunk of land was sufficient becouse it added great farmland, and a major part of our country.

    The westward expanison was when all the pioneers, gold diggers, explorars, and people went west for more land. This was important because it helped us get all of our states on the west side of our country.

    The civil war started when the north group of states and the south group of states started fighting over the idea od having slaves or not having slaves. It was a long peosses with many people dieing. The presidents main goal was to get the southern states to NOT leave the union.

    The titanic sunk with many passangers. All coming to America. It was very sad because of the amound of lifes lost. One of the main reasons so many people died was because they didn't have enough life boats. They had men stay on the boats so that the women and children could be saved. It was very sad especially when the living families got to America without the rest of their families.

    World wars one and 2 happened so close to each other. WWI started 28/July/1939 and ended November/11/1918. WWII started Sept/1/1939 and ended 2/Sep/1945. There was only a 21 year gap in bwetween. During that gap happened the great deppresion. So when America went back into war the had just berly recovered from a huge loss in their country. WWII was the firt was with the use of the atonic bomb. It was a sad war for all countries.

    The great drpression was when the stock marketes crashed and thousands of people were kicked out of their homes, lost jobs, or couldn't afford alot of things. The great deppresion was around the time of WWI and WWII so many people had to give up their stuff for war. It was a sad time in our country.

    Attack on Pearl Habor
    This day is the day when Japan attacked America during WWII They flew their planes over Pearl Harpor ( Hawaii. )They bombed, and shot many places, and people. We decided to enter into the war, and later on won the war. This attack is sad becouse many soldiers were very young and their perents wanted them to life to see the end of the war. This was one of the biggest attacks on America in history.

    Neil Armstrong landed on the moon ( With the help of NASA.) He then said the words, " One small step for man, on giant leap for mankind. We had accomplished something no other man or country could do. We are very proud to say the our American flag is still on the moon right were Neil Armstrong put it to this day.

    9/11
    9/11 was one of the most affected, attacks on America. 2 planes hit both of the World Trade Centers. Another plane hit the Pentagon. The last plane was aimed for Washington DC but the men and women on the plane fought back sadly all of them died but it did not hit its intentened target. We will always remember the fighters who died in that heroic day
