Judaism was founded over 3500 years ago in the middle east. The Jews believe God appointed them to be His chosen people. He did this in order for them to set an example of holiness to the world. -

The Torah was written in Hebrew, which happens to be the oldest Jewish language. It is the first section of the Jewish Bible. The Talmud gives two opinions by when the Torah was written. They say it was either written in 1280 BC or 1312 BC. -
