    The Battle of Tacubaya

    The Battle of Tacubaya took place in Tacubaya, Mexico and had heavy casualties from both sides. All of the liberals that had been capture in the battle were ordered to be killed even if they were doctors.

    On January 1st, 1860, Benito Juarez (Benito Pablo Juárez García was a Mexican lawyer and politician who served as a president for the Mexican government from 1858-1872) marched through the city's capitol with much support with and great material and economic resources. Juarez had rose up during the war and was supported by many people.
