Julilly is sold apart from Mammy Sally, to the Riley Plantation, Vicksburg, Mississippi. -
Chapter 16) Cincinnati Ohio
The girls leave the cabin of Ella and Jeb Brown and continue their journey to Levi Coffin, the president of the Underground Railroad. -
Chapter 14-15) Covington Kentucky
The girls hide out in the wilderness and meet Ella and Jeb Brown, who hides them from the Sheriff. . -
Chapter 5- 6) Riley Plantation
Julilly meets Liza and starts the daily routines on the Riley Plantation. -
Chapter 17) Cleveland Ohio
The girls escape from the Sheriff (again) from Levi and Katie's house and meet Massa Ross at a freight train, where they are tied up in sacks to look like they are dry goods. -
Chapter 7-9) Riley Plantation
Massa Ross comes to the Riley Plantation to secretly help slaves (Julilly, Liza, Adam and Lester) escape. -
Chapter 18) Fort Maiden, Upper Canada
The girls go on a boat, the "Mayflower" to arrive to Canada. The Sheriff and a slave catcher are on the boat, doing whatever it takes to out Julilly and Liza in slavery again. -
Chapter 19) St. Catherine’s Canada.
The girls made it to Canada! They are free! But unfortunately, the white people in Canada surrogate the free slaves from them. Julilly and Liza meet up with Adam, without Lester, who died his first day in Canada. To Julilly's surprise, Mammy Sally is there! She, Liza and Julilly live with each other. Free. -
Chapter 11-12) Caught!
Lester and Adam get caught by slave catchers around Knoxville, Tennessee -
Chapter 10) Escaping to Tennessee
All 4 slaves start escaping to Knoxville Tennessee.
