Roman Citizens overthrew the last Etruscan king and constructed their own system of government and laws. (I decided to include this event even though it was outside the appointed time. I thought that it was very important to Rome's history)

The Plebeian Assembly was created to help solve social class issues in Rome, and they ended up doing nothing to help solve those issues. This Council that always included one common person never solved poverty or social class issues. This caused tensions to rise among commoners and the rich in Rome.

Julius Caesar started to work against the Roman Republic since he thought it was better gone. He worked along with Pompey for a while until he turned against him and killed him. He did that since Pompey was his biggest competition for power in Rome. He was assassinated shortly after.

Rome went from being an overconfident empire to being nothing due to bad leadership and never fixing old issues. There was also a lot of avoidance in Rome. They didn't like being a monarchy, so they became a republic. The republic didn't work, so they became an empire. They finally fell after becoming an empire. Rome never fixed the unfairness of social classes even though that proved to be an issue throughout all of Roman history. Their avoidance of these issues led to the fall of Rome.
