    The EDVAC (Electronic Discrete Variable Automatic Computer) is completed at Moore School by Mauchly, Eckert and Von Neumann. The EDVAC was a great invention since it made computers easier and faster to use.

    IBM builds the first hard drive. It contains fifty 24 inch disks, has a capacity of 5 MB and costs over US$1,000,000 I thought that was crazy how much the first hard drive was worth but I gues it was a pretty big deal.
