    The Egyptian civilization was a unique state which was ruled by kings known as pharaohs. The pharaohs were seen as divine-like gods by the people and were highly regarded. Egpyt is one of the few civilizations that still exist to this present day.

    Sumerian Civilization

    Sumer was a civilization located in southern Mesopotamia, composed of city-states. Mesopotamia can be located in modern-day Iraq.

    Norte Chico

    Rich in fishing, the Norte Chico civilization lived closer to many lakes and rivers. Its size is small compared to Sumer in Mesopotamia. The civilizations of Norte Chico were located in modern-day Peru. Due to their location, they did not have many advantages when it came to invasions.

    The Chinese civilization was filled with dynasties and rulers that helped shape the world today. They created the early writing systems which help spread many other cultures to develop their own writing systems.

    Not much is known about the people of the Indus Valley, but research has found out that in 1700 BC, the civilization fell due to the rise of the Agricultural Revolution. Their culture was then passed to the cultures in modern-day India continent. The Oxus civilization, living in Central Asia, rose very high due to the agriculture of the past. The culture was filled with many art styles that showed the way of life it was back then.

    The Olmec Civilization was located in the Gulf of Mexico, which is southern Mexico. The Olmec civilization is what shaped other cultures in liked those created in Mesoamerica.

    Located in Mesopotamia, the Assyrian empire was formed before the Persians and their main objective was the fight and conquest many lands to show power in war.

    Kush Conquest of Egypt

    After the fall of the pharaohs in Egypt, the Kush located in Ancient Nubia, conquered the land of Egypt and used their resources to benefit their own.

    The Persian Empire was located in modern places of Iran, Egypt, Turkey, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Next to the Assyrian Empire, the Persian Empire was the largest empire to exist.
