    Prussia made the war against Austria. Prussia won and it allowed the unification of the northern german states.

  • Second Phase

    In 1871 Prussia made the war against France. The southern german states unified with the rest of Germany. France lost Alsacie (Alsacia) and Lorraine (Lorena). In Versalles William I was proclaimed Emperor of the Second Reich.
