This 1981 IBM personal computer reached the market boasting technology assistance from Intel for the Processor chip and Microsoft for the Disk Operating system.

    The technology of a compact disc was scratches and a laser. Almost similar to a Vinyl record a compact disc was a reflected backside that was engraved with millions of little scratches that a laser in the music player would read.

Sony released the first camcorder for professional use. It was a single unit allowing the user freedom to move around when operating.

It was initially used for IBM compatible personal computers. 1985 was the first time a windows OS user could actually see and navigate the desktop with a mouse. Prior to this software DOS users would type in the commands that the PC would need to do.
