  • Hitler Joins the German Workers Party

    Hitler went to a German Workers Party meeting dressed as a civilian. He was invited to join the party after standing up for the party against a man.
  • Twenty Five Point Program

    Hitler became very important to the party at this time because of his well put together speeches. Him and the rest of the party came up with a twenty five point program to help change Germany.
  • Hitler Becomes Chairman of the Party

    After Hitler proved that he is successful for the party with his great speeches he became the chairman of the Party. Later, the name of the party was changed to National Socialist German Workers' Party, also known as NSDAP.
  • Hitler is Arrested

    Hitler is arrested in the Munich Beer Hall Putsch and charged with treason.
  • Hitler is Found Guilty for Treason

    Hitler goes to court for his charges for Treason. He is found guilty and sentenced five years in prison. This is also when started his book,"Mein Kampf".
  • Hitler is Released from Prison

    After Hitler was sentenced to five years in prison, he was released within a year. This made him become a popular person in Europe.
  • NSDAP Moved Away from Hitler

    The NSDAP moved away from Hitler after his arrest. He regained control and became really motivated to gain national power.
  • Hitler is Able to Speak Again

    Hitler was banned from being able to speak in front of people around this time. His ban was lifted and he was able to speak in front of people again to try and gain voters.
  • Hitler Attempts to Gain Voters

    Hitler travels around the country making powerful speeches to gain voters for the election.
  • Hitler Gains Power

    Hitler is elected to be the Chancellor of Germany.
