    Cumberland believes in doing eveything in life for the common good of you and the people around you.He also includes both happiness and perfection, as partrs of the common good. He believes you should not only do things to make yourselff happy but instead to do things that will make yourself and the people around you happy and at peace.

    Aristotle believes happinnes is the key to life and finding what makes you happy and how to achieve that is one of the main goals of your life.

    Epicurus believed that as rational beings, we should try to pursue pleasure as rationally and intelligently as possible and that we should use our freedom to make good choices.

    Socrates believed that the purpose of human life was personal and spiritual growth. We are unable to grow toward greater understanding of our true nature unless we take the time to examine and reflect upon our life.
  • Jesus

    Jesus believed that you should not live for yourself but that you should live to help others and make other people happy. He believed you shouldn't leave people in need but instead help them.
