In this experimentation, Jenner rubbed pus from dairymaid’s cowpox postule onto an incision on the boy, and exposes him to small pox just six weeks later. Upon realization that he does not develop small pox, the science of building immunity by exposing the human body to a sample of the disease became significant.

Hoffman is credited to be the first to synthesize medically useful forms of Aspirin. The production of this revolutionary product can be resourced to Hippocrates written documents. By acetylating salicylic acid with acetic acid, he succeeded in creating acetylsalicylic acid in a chemically pure and stable form. This invention relieved pain and reduced fevers, much like Hippocrates origin theory.
