    The Liberals in Hungary made the 12 points which was the first step of the revolution and it later became the basis of the April laws.
  • April laws

    It was accepted by Ferdinand V., a turning point in the Hungarian History. The April laws also made civil development possible and gave opportunity to catch up with the West.
  • Beginning of the fights

    They made the royal decree and on the 11th of September Jelacic crossed the Hungarian border with an army.
  • Failure

    Another revolution in Vienna, and the Hungarian troops didn't react.
  • Battle of Schwechat

    Windischgrӓtz defeated Móga.
  • End of 1848

    Görgey Artúr was the new military leader, he avoided fighting and with that he saved the army.

    Large-scale campaign against Hungary and we lost.
  • Battle of Kápolna

    Windischgrätz defeated the Hungarians again.
  • Spring campaign

    By the end of May the whole county was liberated and the army recaptured Buda
  • Retaliation

    Batthyány and 13 generals were executed in Arad. Thousands were imprisoned and soldiers were also forced to served away from their home.
