Estates General meeting
The meeting was when all 3 the Estates met to raise taxes on the third estate. It important because it was one of the reasons the France revolution happened. -
First meeting of the National Assembly
When the third estate declared to be the "National Assembly" because they were 96% of the Nation. They wanted the monarch to have limited power. -
Tennis Court Oath
All the leaders of the third estate met in a tennis court to make a new constitution. It was important because they made a new France constitution. -
Storming of the Bastille
The storming of the Bastille was when a bunch of people took down a jail brick by brick. It was important because it allow the revolution to occur. -
March of Versailles
Women in France called back Louis XVI back to paris in the building of Versailles. It was important because they made Louis XVI stayed in France. -
Buidling of Versailles
The building of Versailles was built by Louis XIV to protect him and so he could rule completely. The significance was it was expensive and it bankrupt France and also it became a symbol of France. It was the official residence of the king until 1790. -
Reign of Terror
From 1793 to 1794 was when the committe of the public safety killed all the rebels that were against the French revolution. It was important because people were afraid so they killed the leader Robespierre. -

When Robespierre died by being executed. The reasons were because he was growing too strong, and was still using the reign of terror. -
The formation of the directory
It lasted from 1795 until 1799 because they were overthrown. It was important because they kept the revolution going and wanted to make alot of changes but didn't. -
Coup D'Etat
The overthrown of the France government lead by Napoleon. It ended the revolution and started the reign of Napoleon as France's leader. -
The Coronation of Napoleon
Napoleon was the emeperor of France from 1799 to 1815 and his coronotation took place December 2, 1804. He ended the revolution, created seven codes of law and under his ruled everybody was equal and expanded France terretory. He was also the master of Europe from 1807 to 1812. -
Napolean retreats from Moscow
Napoleon retreated from Moscow because there was not food in Moscow and this was also know as the "great retreat". It was important because most of the man in Napoleon's army on their way back died. -
Waterloo (Napoleon's last stand)
Waterloo was the placed were Napoleon was defeated. It was important because he was captured and later killed.
