    YouTube was created by 3 men named: Chad Hurley, Steve Chen and Jawed Karim. YouTube was not payed attention to at first but then it grew rapidly. It grew because it allowed creators to mislead users to score views. YouTube could stream copyright videos of T.V shows and gaming videos.

    A guy named Jawed Karim posted the first-ever video on YouTube. The 18-second video entitled, "Me at the Zoo," features Karim at the San Diego Zoo standing in front of a bunch of elephants. He posted the video before YouTube's public beta launch in May 2005.

    In November 2006, Google bought Youtube for $1.65 billion dollars. A lot of people thought that it was a dumb idea that Google bought YouTube, but it was actually the best desicion they made.

    Nine countries that include: Brazil, France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland and the UK, all got their own versions of YouTube to watch.
