    Henry Puyi was the last emperor of China. When the nationalists ousted the Qing Dynasty, Henry Puyi became a playboy. After his days as a playboy. He then became ruler of Manchukuo. The communists brainwashed him into thinking that everything he ever did was bad and he died a gardener.

    Austria declared war on Serbia because an Austrain ruler was killed by a Serbian teenager. Austria declared war on Serbia, and as a result Russians mobilized along German border, then Great Britain decalred war aon Germany. All of the countries declared war on eachother and a huge world war broke out.

    U.S. entered the war after the Germans used unrestricted submarine warfare and blew up Lusitania, a ship with American Passengers. They also joined the war after intercepting the Zimmerman Telegram, a German telegram to the Mexicans stating that they will help the Mexicans reconquer their lost American lands. These two reasons, and the fact that they wanted to back their friends the British are why they joined the war.

    After the second Battle of the Marne, the central powers crumbled. Bulgaria and the Ottoman Turks surrendered and Kaiser Wilhelp stepped down and Germany became a republic. German and France then signed an armistice to agree to stop fighting. This ended WWI.

    Gandhi lead the indepence movement for the Indians. He had a policy of cicil disobedience. This was a policy to publicly refuse to obey British laws, and not using violence to acheive independence. This took an economic toll on the British and eventually led the the Salt March.

    Mustafa Kemal successfully lead the turkish nationalist's defense agains the Greek. This made him the president of the Republic of Turkey where he modernized. He separated church from state, created a new legal system, gave women rights, and started industrialization projects.

    When Jiang Jieshi surrounded communists and greatly outnumbered them, Mao Zedong headed the Long March which led the communist party out of danger and into remote caves. Many died on this journey due to harsh conditions.
