My Fathers name was John Moore, he was a judge and my mother Agnes Moore is the daughter of a wealthy merchant, my grandfather Thomas Graunger.

I St. Thomas Moore was born on the 7th of Feburary 1478 in Milk Street, Cripplegate in London.

After my schooling years I then bacame a Student at Oxford University.

Then I entered Lincoln's Inn and studied law. I also started interacting with Scholars and learnt greek literature. In this time i made a very close friend named Desiderius Erasmus.

Between 1499 and 1503 i lived near the Carthusian monastery and i took part in the monastic life; prayer, fasting, and penance, i didnt take any monastic vows.

Like my father I then became a barrister in 1504, I also became a member of parliament in that year.

In 1505 I married my first wife Jane Colt. I had four beautiful children with her Margaret, Elizabeth, Cicely and John.

In 1511 Jane (my first wife) died so i married a widdowed woman named Alice Middleton. She was a widdow of a London merchant. We did not have any children together but she had a daughter named Anne Cresacre, i took care of her like she was my own.

Then in 1515 I began to write a book called utopia.

I finished my book utopia in London and it was published in Louvain

I was then appointed under treasurer of the Exchequer and was knighted, from then on i was known as Sir Thomas Moore.

I became the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, i had a quite a bit of control over the northen side of England.

I was accused of Heresy and many protestants believed that i tortured people, even though i denied it, i still wasnt cleared from suspicion.

In 1530 my father died, i was very upset by his passing ...

I refused to attend the crowning of Anne Boleyn King Henry VIII's new wife which was noticed by the king.

I refused to swear the oath in favour of king Henry VIII's children from his second wife so i was sent to the tower where i wrote a "Dialogue of Comfort Agains Tribulation" while i was in the tower I had to sit 5 interrogations.

I was found guilty at my trial for treason in denying that the king is the head of the church and i was sentence to be beheaded.

Before i was beheaded my last words were "The King's good servant, but God's First." then i was beheaded.

I was cannonized by Pope pius XI in 1935.
