-The Brown's second involovement in slave trading
-Nicholas and John joined other Providence merchants in outfitting other ships
-The vessel, Wheel Of Fortune, was captured by the French privateer and they took a lot of the family's investment

Sally

Sep 10, 1764

-Nicholas Brown and company sent three ships to meet in the carribian. Two of those ships were to sell horses and other goods.The third, The Sally,was to sail first to West Africa to acquire a load of slaves for sale for the Brittist in the Caribbean.

Sally arives

Nov 10, 1764

-Captian Hopkins and Sally arrived in west Africa, on the coast of what is now known as the country of Guinea.
- He made relationships with many African leaders in order to make good trade for slaves

Captian Hopkins

Aug 20, 1765

-Captian Hopkins bought in his last slave.
-In all he purchased 196 slaves
-He sold 9 to other traders, 20 of them died and some others died once Sally left the coast.

Rebellian

Aug 28, 1765

-Slaves rose in rebellian
-Hopkins and the crew suppressed the uprising by firing on the slaves,killing 8 and injuring others

88 slaves

Nov 16, 1765

-On the Ssally ship, 88 slaves were lost
- The brown brothers were glad that Captian Hopkins was still alive
