    Called the Osborne, the first laptop computers were sold to the public. The MS-DOS 1.0 had a 5 inch display with a weight of 24 pounds. Invented by Microsoft and IBM.

    Martin Cooper created the DynaTAC 8000X. Although bulky and heavy, it was the worlds first commercial portable cell phone.

    This software was created by Microsoft in partnership with Apple as it was released on the Macintosh. It was designed to become a full operating system in the future but currently was used as a graphics environment which allowed users to have a visual navigation of the operating system. It would later be developed into the software we all know as Microsoft Windows.
