The North experienced a manufacturing boom that continued well into the next century. The Industrial Revolution created jobs as well as convienece within the workforce.

    The War of 1812 Could Have Been the War of Indian IndependenceMany Native American tribes congregated to fight for their home land. American leaders were trying to takeover the land for westward expanision. Some tribes sided with Americans, while most sided with the British because they believed it would save their land. This meant that no peace would be present until one alliance was destroyed.

    American Anti-Slavery SocietyThe American Antislavery Society (AASS) was founded by William Lloyd Garrison and Arthur Tappan. "The Liberator", a newspaper published by AASS was strongly supported by Quakers, women, and free African-Americans. These groups also played a major role in the Abolitionist movement. The society worked to denounce slavery as a sin, endorse non-violence, and condemn racial prejudice.

In 1845, Texas became a US state and gave a home and jobs to many people within the area.

The Common School, founded by Mann, would place actual teachers (instead of farmers, surveyors,inkeepers, etc.) infront of the children all year round. That it would create a well rounded adult with an unbiased knowledge base for the future.

This lead to white settlers further gaining more land and privleges while leaving another race to fend for themselves, it would not help the nation work together.
