    This is the first phase of the slave trade. Europeans sailed to Africa. They wanted to trade goods for people.

    Europeans are traveling to Africa. Along the way they are trading in goods for people ( Africans/ Slaves)
  • Initial Capture

    Initial Capture
    This is second phase of the slave trade. There was African on African Violence. It was promoted by the Europeans.

    Capturing Slaves

    Africans was demanded to go get other slaves. In return they were given goods and was able to stay where they were.

    Holding Slaves (Prisons)

    Slaves were captured and put in cells. They were stacked to tightly together. They really had no moving room.
  • Holding Prisions

    Holding Prisions
    Slaves were captured. This was the third major event. They were held in holding sells.

    This was the fouth phase. Slaves were sent out to get other slaves. They did it to save themselves and to get goods.

    The Atlantic Slave Trade

    Slaves were diying and getting thrown over board. They were being beaten when directions weren't followed. Some tried to survive or some just gave up and wanted death.

    Everyday 2-8 slaves was loaded ona a ship.The were sent to accumulate prisners. They traded in slaves for items.

    This was the fith phase. This was a time for survival. It also was a time for resistance.

    This is the sixth phase.The slaves were sold to other white men after coming across Atlantic. They slaves have different masters with different jobs.

    They were sold to new owners. They now have different masters and jobs. This is phase seven

    Orientation labor or redistribution to other colonies. By European country and colony. The last phase
